Biography:
Dr. Wilfred Angie Abia is an expert in food safety, food fraud, neurotoxicology, and chemical risk assessment, with a focus on exposure and health impacts. He holds PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Yaoundé I and MSc and BSc degrees from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He has undertaken postdoctoral research at the University of Johannesburg, IFA-BOKU Vienna, and Queen’s University Belfast, focusing on mycotoxin exposure, biomonitoring, neurotoxicology, and food fraud. He has published extensively in mycotoxicology, agri-food fraud, neurotoxicology, and One Health. He is currently EMD of AFS1HA and Senior Lecturer at the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon.
