Rita Singh Raghuvanshi

Dr. Rita Singh Raghuvanshi is an Emeritus Scientist and Convenor of the NSI Pantnagar Chapter, Department of Food and Nutrition, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. With over 40 years of distinguished academic experience, she served as Dean, College of Home Science, for 17 years and Head, Department of Food and Nutrition. She has also contributed to several national committees of ICAR, ICMR, UGC, MHRD, and the Planning Commission of India, particularly in curriculum development, nutrition policy, and higher education reforms. She delivered several invited lectures for different organizations including to Commonwealth Parliamentarians.  An accomplished researcher with over 150 research papers and several books, her work advances nutrition security, community health, sustainable food systems, and valorization of underutilized crops and agri-residues.
