Biography:
Dr. Kiran Dande is a veteran academic, researcher, and former Head of the Department of Dairy Science at Mahatma Basweshwar College in Latur, Maharashtra, India. With over 37 years of teaching experience and nearly four decades as a researcher, he is a leading authority in animal nutrition, dairy science, farm management, and sustainable agriculture. He holds a Ph.D. in Dairy Science, an M.Sc. in Animal Husbandry and Dairying, and an M.Phil. in Zoology.
A prolific scholar and innovator, Dr. Dande has published 65 research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals and holds 5 granted patents. He has authored multiple reference books through reputed publications, several of which have been adopted into university syllabi, and has written technical bulletins for the Veterinary Department of the Government of Maharashtra to educate technical staff and dairy farmers. His specialized research portfolio also includes epidemiological studies on Ixodid ticks.
Beyond academia, Dr. Dande provides strategic consulting to livestock farm owners on modern technology and best practices. He was notably commended by Government of India Veterinary Authorities for developing life-saving feed formulations during severe drought conditions.
An internationally recognized speaker, Dr. Dande has delivered keynote and plenary addresses across North America, Europe, and Asia, including in Canada, Italy, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, the USA, and Nepal.
